Boulud Sud Miami: Experience Culinary Elegance in the Heart of Miami

I’ve eaten here many times and my husband and I love the food. The portions are perfect; we appreciate appropriately sized portions that don’t require a to-go box. It’s quite ironic that, in America, we pay more for smaller portions and I’m OK with that for better quality. The ingredients are tastefully combined and beautifully presented. We can choose many restaurant options in the area but each time we visit Miami, we stay at the Hotel Beaux Arts and eat at Boulud Sud. We are also bar people so we never make reservations and choose to sit at the bar. The restaurant is rather quiet and isn’t usually packed, which is a bummer because it’s in a great location. Definitely worth a try.

Excellent staff and service. GM was so engaging and attentive when he recognized we were interested in learning more about the wines. He helped us select bottles that met our profiles and budget and that we hadn’t had before. Food and drinks were fantastic. The patatas bravas were well seasoned, I just wanted them to be elevated a bit more. The cut reminded me too much of home fries. Steak was cooked perfectly (mine medium rare and friend’s medium). Wine cave/cellar was an awesome experience.

We loved the happy hour food and drinks. There was a DJ playing some really good vibes too, made the atmosphere that much cooler!

Gave 4 stars for the excellent service and nice atmosphere. Food was just okay for the price. Had the Bolognese and Sea Bass. Croquettes were tasty. Impressive wine list. Will return just for the nice atmosphere to have conversations with friends. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.

Walked into their happy hour not knowing what to expect this week and was pleasantly surprised! There was a good DJ and a lively environment. We sat at the bar and tried a few of their Camapri features cocktails and a few appetizers. Everything was delicious and flavorful, especially the meatballs and the flatbread. I would definitely stop in again

It had good service but very empty. And boring. I wish more people would know how tasty scallops are there. Drinks are interesting too. Portions so you never get full. Pricing is a bit high knowing how much competition is around. It was nice but I would not come back on a Friday night there to feel like I’m 100 years old. Must do some vibe. Tartar was a size of my nipple. Very small portions really.

What a delicious meal! Highly recommend. From the start we were ushered with champagne since our reservation was behind. The service is absolutely fantastic. I had the salmon and my wife had the lamb chops and they were both absolutely amazing!Noise 4/10 - Parking 7-19 (valet) - Food 7/10. Highly recommend Boulud for anyone seeking high quality food at great value!
